Co Curricular Program
Introduction
Our Co-Curricular program is essential to student development. It provides a structure for experiences that reinforce the curriculum and extend learning through exploration, character building, community engagement and the pursuit of individual passions.
Our Co-Curricular program aims to:
Develop individuals who are globally minded students who actively learn, create, solve and engage in the world. We empower students to create solutions for tomorrow's challenges.
ISK offers a broad range of programs and support to this age group: academic, creative, social, and physical & emotional wellness.
All curricular and co-curricular programs in the high school aim to fulfill the ISK Mission, Vision and Educational Aims. In order to prepare high school students for a rapidly changing world, we provide them with the knowledge and skills they need to take responsibility for their lives, to address life's challenges, to become responsible citizens and to be creators of knowledge.
We recognize that students have different needs and learning styles and teachers work to ensure that the delivery of the academic and non-academic programs allow each student to be successful.
ES Co Curricular
The ES Co-Curricular program features quarterly sessions of after school activities centered around creativity, culture, leadership and action(sport). The elementary school also features a growing service learning program. Over the past year we have managed to offer over 25 operations. We are always looking to recruit committed and innovative minds!

- National Honor Society (NHS)
The National Honor Society (NHS) is a premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
- Hand Out
Hand Out is a project lead by a group of ISK students who use 3D printing technologies to create mechanical prosthetic hands for individuals who need them in underprivileged communities. The club is part of a larger global network known as Enabling the Future (ENABLE). Member groups of this network, which are set up in different locations worldwide, are known as chapters. In early 2017, ISK students 3D-printed our first prototype prosthetic hand and shared it with engineers at ENABLE, resulting in our club becoming the first and currently only ENABLE chapter in East Africa.
