2018-19 Vacancies

Elementary School Principal - Recruitment Profile will be posted later.

The deadline for application is September 18, 2017 (More information to follow)

ISK Candidate Profile Form

All applicants must complete and submit the ISK Candidate Profile Form. Please download, print, scan and email the completed form to recruitment@isk.ac.ke.

The ISK community is a close one. Teachers who come to live and work with us in Nairobi enjoy the warm, collegial atmosphere of a professional learning community, as well as a beautiful, temperate climate and opportunities for travel throughout the splendid parks and beaches of East Africa.

Some of our teachers live in the ISK housing compound and some in apartments based on available space. Most landlords do not accept pets in their apartments. For this reason, bringing pets to Kenya is dependent on available accommodation.

Child Protection Policy and Police Clearance

In accordance with ISK's Child Protection Policy, all employees must present evidence of a police clearance from their current country of employment or a Certificate of Good Conduct from Kenya (valid through the end of the year) prior to accepting employment at ISK. All employees must also certify that they have no history of violating any child protection policies. Background checks may be conducted if necessary.

One of ISK’s greatest strengths is the caring environment it provides for
students and staff.

A Growing School Means Increased Professional Opportunities

Our new Elementary School was completed in June 2015. This new facility enables us to open four (4) grades per class in Grades 1-5, three (3) Kindergarten classes and two (2) PreK- 4 classrooms. This growth and expansion opens up new teaching opportunities in the Elementary School and throughout the school.

- ISK's new Elementary School opened in August 2015
