IB Outreach Scholarships
This is a competitive two-year IB Diploma scholarship for Kenyans, based on merit and proven financial need.
Up to two partial scholarships per year in each year of the IB program may be granted on merit and financial need, for a total of 4 scholarships at any one time (two in IB1 and two in IB2). These may be granted to Kenyan students* interested in undertaking the full IB Diploma who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, leadership potential, and commitment to the values expressed in the ISK Mission and Aims, but who would not be able to attend ISK without significant financial support. The amount of the award will be up to 100% of tuition for each of the two years of the award. Capital fees would be waived for these scholarship students and an additional allocation of up to 10% of tuition fees may be set aside to assist with incidental expenses, based on available funds. Normally one scholarship will allocated to a girl and one to a boy each year.
* “Kenyan” students will be long-term residents with a Kenyan passport and at least one parent with a Kenyan passport.
