THE MATER HEART RUN: The Mater Heart Run/Walk is happening again!! This is taking place on the 25^th of May, 2013 at the Nyayo Stadium at 7:00 am. It is a 10-kilometer sponsored fun run (for all the non-runners, you can walk! This is not a race) to raise money for heart surgery for Kenyan children. To register, you simply have to buy a t-shirt:

• Adult (size medium and above): Ksh 1000
• Child (size small and below): Ksh 800
• You can also buy a hat at Ksh 300, or a wrist-band at Ksh 200.

University Night: Juniors (rising Seniors) and Parents, as we come to the end of another exciting school year at ISK and you start to think about being a senior, the big question in the back of everyone’s mind is, “where I am going to apply for college/university next year”. There will be an informational meeting for current junior parents/guardians and students graduating in 2014 on Tuesday Night, 21^st of May 2013 @ 5:30 PM to familiarize you with the process of applying to colleges/universities. A manual outlining the process and other helpful resources will be provided during the session.

“Color Abound" Come feast your eyes on the MS art show entitled "Color Abound" from May 6^th-10^th.

BAKE SALE: UN children fund UNICEF will be having a bake sale 16^th and 17^th May, outside the MS office.

Prices range from 50shs to 200shs. All money raised will be donated. A variety of delicious treats will sold.

SERVICE PROJECTS TODAY

All service projects will be going on May 8^th except for Kangemi. HS teachers will be joining the projects. Please see Ms. Redler if you cannot attend.

The Epic Battle: The claws were drawn out once again. The battleground set. Fans bellowing and urging their teams on with THE YELLOW LIONS having claimed a 35-28 victory in episode 1; THE BLUE LIONS left nothing to chance in episode 2. Crouch! Touch!! Set!!! Exhilarating MS Intermural Rugby. Tackles, Rucks, Moles, Lineouts and Tries. THE BLUE LIONS eventually emerged victorious with a 40-24 emphatic win. Lots of fun, team work play, brilliance and improvement of skill displayed. With Episode 2 tucked away, I know you will not want to miss EPISODE 3 on Friday 10^thMay. There will also be a vuvuzela blowing competition, Mr.Willy's ice cream and lots of other surprises...house points loom. Come CLAW and ROAR with THE MS LIONS. Do not miss out.

Circus: The Circus Unit has started. The Gym will be open for Intramurals on Tuesdays and Thursdays for groups that want extra time to perfect their routines.
