ISK Shortlisted for International Schools Awards
We are delighted to announce that ISK has just been shortlisted in two categories of the International Schools Awards 2022! Click here for the link to the announcement. As one of the many incredible student initiatives at ISK, Plastiki Rafiki, has earned international recognition in two categories: environmental and community building awards. Over 261 nominations were submitted from 48 countries and winners will be decided in January. Well done lions!!

ISK Students empower communities to clean the environment
Congratulations to Plastiki Rafiki for being published in The International Educator! The article, written by our STEM Teachers Maciej and Denzil, talks about how ISK Students are empowering the community to clean the environment by supporting them to develop unique recycled products. Well done to our students for taking the lead on creating awareness about the dangers of pollution to our environment, and for their role in supporting communities to be a part of this great initiative.

How the world beckons an accomplished principal
ISK's Middle School Principal - Alexa Schmid, has been honored at Plymouth State University after she was named 2019 International Principal of the Year by the U.S. Department of State! She is currently pursuing a doctorate in education at Plymouth. In this interview, she shares highlights about her journey as an educator and key insights from an international education perspective.

ISK Engineering Students Tackle Deforestation, with Camels
Maciej Sudra and Denzil Mackrory (ISK faculty) were recently published in The International Educator. Their article explores ways ISK's STEM engineering students are using to tackle deforestation, which is a complex global problem.
