Nurturing Passion, Inclusion, and Global Citizenship
The International School of Kenya’s High School serves a diverse community of students in Grades 9–12, aged 14–18, offering an inclusive, dynamic, and supportive environment designed to meet a wide range of talents, interests, and aspirations.
Our program emphasizes inclusive learning, recognizing each student’s unique strengths, ambitions, and needs. Teachers are dedicated to ensuring that every student grows academically, socially, and emotionally, while gaining the skills and mindset to succeed in life beyond school.
Pathways to Global Success
The High School academic program provides a wide selection of courses that support students in building knowledge, skills, and competencies. Students are prepared for a variety of post-secondary pathways, including universities, colleges, transition years, work, trade school, and other opportunities across the globe.
All students work toward earning the ISK High School Diploma, and many also choose to pursue the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme in Grades 11 and 12.
Located on a beautiful campus, the High School provides close to 360 students from over 40 nationalities with an open, inviting environment where it is safe to explore ideas and collaborate with peers. ISK grows programs strategically, applying research-based instructional practices and creating the ideal balance of hard work towards high academic standards within a warm, safe, and friendly environment. In addition to on-campus learning, ISK students engage in a wide array of learning opportunities in Kenya, online, and around the world, for example in the areas of field study, service learning, co-curricular programs, and online academy independent study.

Learning Beyond the Classroom
At ISK, education extends far beyond academic courses. Our vibrant co-curricular and experiential learning programs complement the academic and social-emotional curriculum, providing opportunities for leadership, creativity, and personal growth. From service learning and intercultural trips to athletic competitions, performing arts, and student-led initiatives, students are challenged and inspired to connect learning to meaningful, real-world experiences.
