Promoting Literacy, One Book at a Time
The ISK Library is an active and welcoming space, designed for 21st century learning and used by the entire ISK community. While housed under one roof in the heart of the school, the ISK LIbrary contains separate Elementary and Secondary spaces designed for dynamic group learning as well as for independent study. Its collection contains over 30,000 books, digital resources and magazine subscriptions, providing students with a wide selection of materials supporting both academic and recreational reading inclusive of learning differences and informational needs. The ISK Library mission is to inspire students to be life-long independent, creative, responsible and effective readers, users and creators of ideas and information in order to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing and multicultural world.
Parents are welcome in the Library
Please note that the ISK Library Remote Book Borrowing Program is currently ongoing! Kindly refer to the Guidelines for Remote Book Borrowing and Return for more information. Parents and Students can borrow books via online requests. Please email Julie Ann Conroy (email@example.com) if you have any questions.
Author, illustrator and storyteller visits enhance the library and literacy curriculum at ISK and are considered valuable to our students for developing their writing skills and their appreciation of literature. They also provide a unique insight into the world of publishing.
