Who are we?
Director of Teaching and Learning (Greg James)
The Director of Teaching and Learning works on all things curriculum as well as professional learning opportunities for teachers including the regional AISA institutes. Testing data for internal common assessments and external tests are also found in this office. (*This excludes specific data and information related to the IB Diploma Programme.)
ISK is proud to be a hub for professional learning in Africa and regularly hosts various professional learning institutes for teachers across Africa (and beyond).
Head of Student Support Services (Heidi Laws)
The Head of Student Support Services is responsible for the supervision of all planning, activities and communications related to the school’s Student Support Services program including Learning Support, English for Speakers of Other Languages and the Counseling program.
Assessment and Curriculum Coordinator (Karen Moore)
The role of the Curriculum and Assessment Coordinator is to ensure the vertical and horizontal alignment of the curriculum and assessments is in line with school policies and principles. The Curriculum and Assessment Coordinator offers support and guidance to Principals and faculty members in unit design, review and in promoting best practices in relation to the schools mission, vision and educational aims.
Technology Integration Coordinator (Kathleen Chromicz)
The Technology Integration Coordinator provides leadership, support, and professional development that will expand the school's innovative use of integrated technology for rich collaborative instruction, dynamic student investigative and design experiences, and meaningful assessment of student achievement and Digital Literacy.
Administrative Assistants (Mary Wambui and Vincent Bundi)
The Administrative Assistants provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Teaching and Learning Centre. This 'behind the scenes' team ensures that the TLC's activities and day-to-day operations take place smoothly.
