We aim to encourage, support and promote excellence in teaching and learning throughout ISK. We collaborate with teachers, assistants, the leadership team and parents to support the school’s learning initiatives.
Along with the offices of the Director of Teaching & Learning, the Head of Student Support Services, the Assessment and Curriculum Coordinator, and the Technology Integration Coordinator, there is space for teachers to work together to plan, collaborate or just find some quiet time.
Who are we?
Director of Teaching and Learning (Greg James)
The Director of Teaching and Learning works on all things curriculum as well as professional learning opportunities for teachers including the regional AISA institutes. Testing data for internal common assessments and external tests are also found in this office. (*This excludes specific data and information related to the IB Diploma Programme.)
ISK is proud to be a hub for professional learning in Africa and regularly hosts various professional learning institutes for teachers across Africa (and beyond).
Head of Student Support Services (Heidi Laws)
The Head of Student Support Services is responsible for the supervision of all planning, activities and communications related to the school’s Student Support Services program including Learning Support, English for Speakers of Other Languages and the Counseling program.

Administrative Assistants (Mary Wambui and Vincent Bundi)
The Administrative Assistants provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Teaching and Learning Centre. This 'behind the scenes' team ensures that the TLC's activities and day-to-day operations take place smoothly.
