This year, 16 students from the International School of Kenya went to Windhoek, Namibia for an  International Schools Theatre Association (ISTA) theatre festival from the 1st to the 6th of February accompanied by Ms Robin Willis and Mr Jay Hart.

Earlier this month, a delegation of ten ISK students had the honor of being hosted at the Palais des Nations and the International Labour Organization (ILO) building for a three-day international conference known as the Ferney-Voltaire Model United Nations (FerMUN) sponsored by the ILO.

During the recent ISK High School Intercultural trips, students who signed up for the Loisaba trip saw firsthand the impact some of the past ISK design projects have had on the community and tested out new design innovations.

ISK engineering students have learned about indigenous trees, material design, and the importance of isolating variables while designing seedball casings to optimize germination rates.

Plastiki Rafiki and Construction by Design, two HS student-led clubs at ISK, have teamed up to design and fabricate a sheet press for plastic recycling.
