Congratulations to the Class of 2021

Congratulations to the Class of 2021

On May 28, ISK graduated another class of seniors in person with a beautiful, open-air ceremony attended by the graduates and their parents. The Class of 2021, was 89 students strong, and likely more interesting, there were 37 different nationalities just in this 12th grade class.

For those of you who watched it streamed live, you will remember that we had a couple of long-term students graduating from ISK this year. We had one student that started at ISK in Kindergarten in the class of 2021 with another joining ISK in Grade 2. That was amazing; while we have to acknowledge the transient nature of ISK in that one senior was at ISK only for this year!

The Class of 2021 has been accepted to universities worldwide, with several planning their own learning using the next year as a self-directed learning year or gap year due to the pandemic. ISK graduates were accepted to universities such as the University of Hong Kong; Waseda University and Sophia University in Japan; McGill University, UBC, University of Waterloo, and the University of Toronto in Canada; the University of Cambridge, King's College London, University of Exeter, and the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom; Leiden University and University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands; and Duke University, Georgetown University, SCAD, University of California - Berkeley, and Howard University in the United States. These are just a few of the universities where our graduates were accepted or have decided to attend, starting next year.

It is probably important to note our 2020 graduates have been offered more than $3 million dollars in scholarships money to support their undergraduate university studies.

Congratulations to the ISK's Class of 2021!
