Spreading Kindness, Love, and Gratitude with Nimesh Patel – aka Nimo!
Last November, we had the opportunity to live kindness with our guest, Nimesh “Nimo” Patel (Empty Hands Music). Nimo had many interactions in our ISK community - he worked with all of our MS students through their humanities classes, engaged parents in an inspiring parent workshop on Wednesday morning, led a powerful Student Leadership Seminar on Wednesday afternoon, and capped off the week with an MS assembly. He filled our week with messages of love, gratitude, and kindness. A brief overview of the impact:
Who?
- Over 250 MS students
- Over 100 ES students
- Over 20 parents
- 24 student leaders
- Countless teachers and leaders
What?
- Deep conversations about kindness and gratitude
How?
- through art, through laughter, through exploration, and through music….we celebrated the importance of kindness and hope in our world today.
Planting these seeds and focusing on gratitude and kindness = time well spent. It is so powerful to be part of a community that believes kindness is a priority. Be Kind!
